OBJECTIVES AND TASKS

The main goal of the Fund is:

To enable through purposeful denationalization, the properties of the Jews on the territory of the Republic of Macedonia, which they left by forced deportation in the fascist camps, and did not survive the pogrom and have no heirs do not remain in the ownership of state property, but that property be put into operation on the permanent commemoration of the Holocaust of the Jews in Macedonia. Participation in the construction of the Macedonian Holocaust Memorial Center for the Jews of Macedonia; Maintaining the Center, managing and managing its work and activities.

Other goals of the Fund are:

Nurturing the Jewish culture and tradition and studying the life and work of the Jews in this area by organizing lectures, seminars and other activities in this area; Protection and revitalization of Jewish monuments; Collecting historical materials and data about the Jews in this area; Further enhance relations between all citizens of Macedonia and the Jewish people in the world, such as for the brotherhood and harmony of nations and the prevention of destructive phenomena such as racism, anti-Semitism and chauvinism.

The main tasks of the Fund are:

Investigation of the names and surnames of the Jews, who left their property on the territory of the Republic of Macedonia, through forced deportation to the fascist camps, and did not survive the pogrom and have no heirs; Researching and gathering the necessary data on the properties of these Jews. Collection of the assets from the previous paragraph in the fixed assets of the Fund.

Other tasks of the Fund are:

Organizing and assisting spiritual, cultural and intellectual activities with a Jewish theme, as well as creativity in general; Participation in publications and scientific papers on the topic of international and interfaith tolerance and coexistence; Developing forms of engagement and participation of Jewish Citizens and their associations in the overall public life; Preserving the memory of the Jewish Holocaust in order to prevent similar genocides and suffering; Preserving the memories of the Jews in Macedonia, their tradition and their two-millennium contribution in all segments of coexistence; Other goals and tasks, in accordance with the Law and the Statute. In order to achieve its goals and objectives, the Fund can coordinate its work, as well as cooperate with related foundations, organizations, institutions, individuals and legal entities in our country and abroad.

The Fund realizes its goals and tasks through:

Collection of data and information for the needs of the Fund, and in cooperation with state institutions and bodies, scientific institutions, Archives, SAGW-survey and cadastre departments, MANU, faculties and similar organizations as well as professional assistance from the Ministry of Transport and Communications, Ministry for culture and others. Organizing conferences, seminars, conferences, exhibitions, performances, screenings, etc .; Publishing occasional printed materials, publications, etc. Scholarships for students in the field of human rights, etc. with a special focus on interethnic and interfaith cooperation, understanding and coexistence. International cooperation on all the above grounds, and in accordance with the positive legal norms. Undertaking other activities in order to achieve the program goals and objectives.
